Light Breaks Through: Advent Services

Twenty-twenty has been a tough year. Between political polarization, a global pandemic, a renewed awareness of racial injustice and increasing threats of irreversible changes to our climate; it has been a heavy year. Many of us have had difficult times.

Yet, Christmas is steadily approaching us. It is a time that brings hope, new life and renewal.

This year, Bytown Community Church invites you to join us for our first ever family friendly Advent services. We will gather on Zoom Sundays from 4 to 5 pm.

We’ll share how we are thankful, light our Advent candles and remember the hope we have in a King who will one day return. Email info@bytowncommunitychurch.ca to receive your own Advent Kit. Included are colouring pages, a daily reading guide, the readings for our time together and the words to the carols that will be sung.
